In his inaugural address, former President George W. Bush said, “The peaceful transfer of authority is rare in history, yet common in our country. With a simple oath, we affirm old traditions and make new beginnings.”

On former President Bill Clinton’s final day in office, he gave a radio address and said, “The peaceful transfer of power from one administration to the next, from one party to another, may confound others around the globe. But it reflects the underlying strength of our Constitution and rule of law.”

  2. He’s a true Republican? He single handily was involved in the murder of 3,000 people on day. Don’t forget the hundreds of thousands that were killed fighting for almost 20 years because of his decisions. If he is a “real” Republican then thank God I am a registered independent. Trump is scaling back the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.

  4. Bush probably made many mistakes but he left with grace! Never bad mouth Obama or any other president for that manner. He kept quiet and any time they called he was there with full support even though they said what they said… Over time I gained respect for bush❤️

  5. Peaceful transfer 😂🤣😂. Let us not forget that the DNC and the 2016 Hillary Clinton campaign purchased the dirty Steele dossier to use to unseat a duly elected US president! A political move that would have made Stalin proud!

  7. What’s the point? Do people really think Trump wouldn’t concede if he lost an honest and fair election? Of course he would. All Americans should be concerned about voter fraud and fair elections. And let’s not forget- it’s the Democrats who never really accepted that an outsider won the 2016 election. I’m not a huge fan of everything Trump does or says, but I can admit he’s done a number of positive things for our country. The Democrats should’ve worked harder for the American people by working with him and the republicans the last four years instead of wasting their time and our money constantly attacking him (as if all of them are saints 🙄). They are worse off now because of their bitter loss. So, I think it’s fair to say the transfer of power in 2016 wasn’t really peaceful.
